NewsThe cofounders of the Solarbear project will appear in an Industrial Design Engineering bookwork, on sustainable energy topics. A complet 6 pages is expected to be printed within a few months. Solarbear has been taken over by a large sustainable organization in Rotterdam: Enviu. They will lead further developments and business in the form of a WoW! Project! R. van Genuchten has joined forces with the solarbear team for her graduation! She will propose an implementation strategy in India. The Minor group who went to Ghana for market research has returned to the Netherlands! With many overwhelming stories we are pleased to incorporate them in the project. The Design Challenge team has succeeded in creating ice, by functional tests with a 1000W lamp! J.R.J. Martens can now legally use his ir. title, and successfully graduated on the solarbear initiative. Graduate J.R.J. Martens' first exploratory prototype cooled to about 10 degrees Celsius, in an open room at around 23 degrees. L. Schürg is graduated on his exploratory study of the technical possibilities and restrictions, he graduated cum laude. We have build the first technical prototype! Testing phases began. The students from the DCE minor have finished their work in Surinam and have presented it in YES!Delft, we became second in the competition. |
